Scottish Muslim’s help to patients

Members of Bellshill town mosque in Lanark shire have collected about 3000€ for support of sick and poor kids who are challenging the cancer in domestic hospitals.

This subscription of mosque members was after Friday’s prayers and was divided to three cheques, each 1000€ and were given to hospitals in Wishaw, Beatson and Airdrie.

More than fifty thousand Muslims live in Scotland that is around 1.4% of country’s whole population.

Muslims are considered the second big religious group in Scotland and they have thirty mosques in this country.

Scottish Muslims do such charity activities a lot to clear the misunderstanding about connection between extremism and Islam.
